First-Ever Cornerstone Uno Tournament Brings Students Together
March marked an exciting milestone at Cornerstone with our very first schoolwide Uno Tournament! Created to help students in the Pathways Program connect with peers across the school, this event was a hit—and then some. But this tournament was about more than just cards. It was about creating a space where students—especially those who struggle with attendance or social interaction—could come together, have fun, and feel included. Through friendly competition and shared moments of laughter, students formed bonds that extended well beyond the game table. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement. From high-fives to cheers, every match was filled with teamwork, support, and heart. It was inspiring to see students encouraging one another and embracing the joy of play. Because of its success, we’re thrilled to announce the Uno Tournament will now be a monthly event—giving all students more chances to connect, engage, and build lasting friendships in a fun and inclusive setting.
