On Friday, October 31st, the CDS community celebrated Halloween in spooktacular style! Students and staff alike had a frighteningly good time, with nearly everyone joining in the fun by dressing up in creative, clever, and sometimes hilarious costumes.
The day was filled with festive activities, including pumpkin painting, a mummy wrap contest, and trick-or-treating through the gym. One of the biggest highlights was a special visit from Kafka Farms’ Traveling Petting Zoo, where students got to meet and interact with Leroy the llama, Franklin the mini goat, and several of their adorable barnyard buddies — including baby goats and lambs, all just six months old! No matter what the age, everyone enjoyed the animals!
To wrap up the Halloween fun, everyone enjoyed a delicious pizza lunch together, making it a truly memorable day of laughter, creativity, and community spirit at CDS.
