In Early May, high school memories were made as our Juniors and Seniors enjoyed dinner, dancing, and having fun with their friends at our annual Jr./Sr. Prom, which took place at The Westwood. This year’s theme was Enchanted Forest. The students have worked for the last few months conducting fundraising activities to defray the cost of the prom. The staff organized a beautiful prom boutique, providing students with the opportunity to choose their attire and look their best.
The Horticulture Class designed terrariums, which were used as favors. The balloon arches were beautiful and welcoming, creating a design that gave the students a sense of an enchanted forest from the entranceway.
The students danced the night away to the DJ’s music and enjoyed a delicious meal, with students choosing between chicken, penne vodka, and a dessert of apple crisp with ice cream. Accommodations were made for students with dietary needs.
Fifty students attended with their guests. Both students and staff chaperones enjoyed themselves as they celebrated this crucial high school milestone. It was surely a night our students will remember.
