February 2026
The students under the direction of the Service Committee spread love and kindness this February by creating handmade cards and small art projects, including diamond art and scratch art. In celebration of the month of February and Valentine’s Day, these thoughtful creations were donated to a local senior living facility as a meaningful way to honor our character trait of the month, empathy.
Students put great care and creativity into each piece, making every card and project unique and heartfelt. This initiative not only allowed our students to express their artistic talents but also taught them the importance of compassion and connection within our community. By taking the time to create something special for others, students are learned how small gestures make a big impact. We hope these handmade gifts brought smiles, warmth, and a sense of joy to the residents who received them. Through these acts of care and generosity, we hoped to brighten the days of some and remind others that they are valued, cared for, and appreciated.
