A part of our Cornerstone Experience includes opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities such as sports teams. Teams offered at Cornerstone include soccer for our Middle School students, and for our high school students Volleyball in the fall, basketball for the winter, and softball in the spring.
I am excited to announce that this fall, the Cornerstone Day School Volleyball team, finished with a final record that qualified the team for the playoffs. The Crusaders defeated their opponent in the championship game to win the title of champions of the NJNCAL league. We’re so excited about this title and are very proud of our athletes. The team recently celebrated this win with a team luncheon at Wing Stop!
We are currently in the ’24 basketball season. Our team showed a lot of promise in the first game and played well; however, we suffered a 10-point defeat. The team is practicing hard and looks forward to playing and winning games and bringing home another championship title!
Our students and coaching staff look forward to the upcoming softball season!
