The students at Cornerstone engage in several community service activities throughout the year. It is through service to others that we can find a sense of self and head on the path to better mental health. The Cleveland Clinic reports volunteering and service activities decrease stress, lessen depression, and boost a person’s overall health and satisfaction in life.
So, you can imagine our students are filled with excitement for our 2024 Annual Toy Drive.
In keeping with the holiday spirit, our Student Council members again this year shopped and purchased toys that were donated to the Cranford Police Department’s annual “Toys for Tots” toy drive.
Students brought in toys of their choice to brighten the holidays for less fortunate children. This tradition at Cornerstone has been going strong for the past five years, and we take immense joy in supporting our community through this initiative. Every toy donated was given to our local police department, who then distributed them to families in need, spreading joy and cheer during the holiday season.
Spread some holiday cheer and feel good at the same time by volunteering and engaging in community service throughout the year like we do at Cornerstone!
